| Nota de contenido | La siguiente investigación consistió en obtener saponina del cormo de Gladiolus communis Linneaus por medio de solventes orgánicos como el acetato de etilo, etanol y butanol en las diferentes etapas. Las variables que se controlaron fueron Ia velocidad de agitación magnética y la concentración de| solvente etanol; estas se desarrollaron en un diseño factorial de 16 tratamientos en total, siendo los resultados evaluados en forma cualitativa, usando el reactivo de Liebermann-Burchard y cuantitativo mediante cromatografía en capa fina y uso del espectrofotómetro IR. EI procedimiento Implicó un previo acondicionamiento de Ios cormos, para proceder al desengrase de la muestra asignada (10 g) por agitación magnética con el solvente acetato de etilo (1 :10 p/v), luego se maceró con etanol a diferentes concentraciones, se combinaron los extractos y se evaporó el solvente por completo en baño maría y finalmente se trató con el solvente etanol- butanol (3:1 v/v) para ser llevado al rotavapor a fin de concentrar la saponina. The following research was to obtain saponin from corm of Gladiolus communis Linneaus by organic solvents such as ethyl acetate, ethanol and butanol at different stages. The variables were controlled speed magnetic stirring and concentration of ethanol solvent; these were developed in a factorial design of 16 treatments in total, with the results evaluated qualitatively using the reagent Liebermann-Burchard and quantitative thin-layer chromatography and use of IR. The procedure involved a preconditioning corms, to proceed to degrease the assigned sample (10 g) by magnetic stirring with the solvent ethyl acetate (1:10 w/ v), then with ethanol macerated at different concentrations, extracts were combined and the solvent evaporated completely in a water bath and finally treated with the solvent butanol ethanol (3: 1 v / v) to be taken to concentrate rotavapor to saponin. |
